Resume FitTerms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Resume Fit browser extension, the website at tryresumefit.com and related services (together, the "Service"). The Service is provided by Gourav Kumar Giri, Bagdogra, Siliguri, West Bengal 734014, India ("we", "us", "our"). By installing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1. What the Service does
Resume Fit compares your resume with a job description and gives you an automated fit score with suggestions ("Score"). For a fee, it can also produce a version of your resume rewritten for a specific job ("Tailored Resume"). Results are generated with artificial intelligence.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old, and old enough to enter a binding contract where you live. You may only upload your own resume, or a resume you are authorised to process.
3. No account; your credit key
The Service does not require an account. Each installation of the extension gets a random identifier (your "credit key"). Your credits and past Tailored Resumes are linked to it. Anyone who has your credit key can use your credits, so keep it private. If you lose it (for example by uninstalling the extension without copying it), we may not be able to restore your credits. Contact us with your Paddle receipt and we'll do our best to help.
4. Prices and payment
Scores are free, up to a daily limit that we may change. Tailored Resumes are paid, either one at a time or as a pack of credits (1 credit = 1 Tailored Resume). Current prices are on our Pricing page and are shown before you pay. Credits do not expire. There are no subscriptions or recurring charges.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles payment processing, invoicing, tax (such as GST/VAT) and handles order-related customer service inquiries and returns. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms.
5. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
6. Your content
You keep all rights to your resume, the job descriptions you submit, and your Tailored Resumes. You give us a limited licence to process that content only to provide the Service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your content or use it to advertise to you.
7. AI output — please review it
Scores and Tailored Resumes are generated automatically and can be wrong or incomplete. The Service is instructed not to invent experience and gives you a list of every change it made, but you are responsible for checking that everything in a resume you send to an employer is true and accurate. A score is an estimate, not a prediction of any hiring decision. We do not guarantee interviews, job offers or any other outcome.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the Service to create false or misleading credentials; upload content you have no right to use, or content that is unlawful; try to get around rate limits, payment or security controls; resell the Service; reverse-engineer it beyond what the law allows; or use it in a way that harms the Service or other people.
9. Third-party websites
When you click the extension, it reads the job posting on the page you are viewing. We are not responsible for third-party websites or their content. You are responsible for following those websites' own terms.
10. Our intellectual property
The Service, its software, design and branding belong to us or our licensors. These Terms don't give you any rights to them except to use the Service as intended.
11. Availability and changes
We try to keep the Service available but don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or discontinue features. If we permanently shut down the paid Service, we will refund any unused credits.
12. Disclaimer
Apart from the promises in these Terms, and to the extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection law that cannot be excluded.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost opportunities, income or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. None of this limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud.
14. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the extension. We may suspend access if you break these Terms. If we do so without cause, we will refund your unused credits.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Siliguri, India have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, tell you in the extension. The Terms in force when you buy credits apply to that purchase.
